Marching onward into SPRING
Since last update: I've explored strategic partnerships with FAST Company, Givewith and others. Enrolled two advisory board members, and decided upon name of platform to be....
Greetings all, my family and I are now sequestered at my Mother’s Berkshires townhouse to help flatten out the curve of the Corona virus we all know too well. From my perspective the business path I’ve chosen is now more viable than ever, I aim to bring it up out of the ashes of this current pandemic with steadfast sincere, profit and purpose, platform design and workability.
After much deliberation and contemplation I’ve decided to call the platform to be ‘Symbiotic’, an adjective meaning “denoting a mutually beneficial relationship between different people or groups.” I think that sums it up and piques curiosities quite nicely, doesn’t limit or restrict the possibilities either. Since separating from my former company that I co-built from ground up nearly 23 years ago, the time on my own has been light, carefree and bristling with possibilities. However, now that I’m on my own for the third month, I’m starting to feel the weight of things needing to get done to move this possibility forward. The purpose of this business ‘to be’ is to build a new possibility of profit and purpose, creating easy steps towards social responsibility for all businesses.
Since my last post, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet with folks at Givewith, and Fast Company to discuss potential partnerships. From those meetings, although I see great potential of working together for mutual benefit it’s become painfully clear to me that I need to show a concise business plan, pitch deck or the like to take this vision into reality.
I’ve enrolled a couple of great humans as advisory board members to help guide the platform ethos and architecture, @Marissa Feinberg founder and Chief Story Teller Triple Bottom Why and @Gene Reich founder of Point, IT infrastructure. Otherwise I’m talking to folks from all walks, looking for fitting partners on my #requestforpartnership. Turning the channel to WIN WIN.
At the juncture of pandemic and possibility, thank you all for following my progress,
and please note I’m grateful for all shares, comments and feedback, which all help move this forward.
most sincerely, Jay Frank
stay tuned….
